Research Interests: I am broadly interested in how humans have evolved to utilize cues such as masculinity and femininity in voices and faces to guide their perceptions of people. My primary research interest is investigating how perceptions of faces and voices influence behaviours directly relevant to society, such as voting behaviour. My secondary research interest is investigating the relationship between different cues to human mate quality, such as masculinity, femininity, and symmetry. I am interested in how these cues to different underlying qualities, like hormonal status and developmental stability, may provide similar information about an individual's fitness.
